Oakland Small School Students Speak
Seniors from EXCEL High School in Oakland talk about their experiences in their new small school, which was opened in 2005 on the campus of a large comprehensive school, McClymonds High School, along with another small school, BEST High School. BayCES has provided coaching support to EXCEL Principal Yetunde Reeves, teachers, and other staff in small school design and practices since 2004.
