Elmhurst Community Prep Impact 2012 Inquiry Team Video (9min 37sec)

Several members of the ECP Middle School Team presented on their progress in improving student literacy through focal student inquiry. They discussed their focal students and their formative assessment data-based approaches to improving reading skills that they developed with their National Equity Project coach Mark Salinas.

Oakland Small School Students Speak
Seniors from EXCEL High School in Oakland talk about their experiences in their new small school, which was opened in 2005 on the campus of a large comprehensive school, McClymonds High School, along with another small school, BEST High School. The National Equity Project has provided coaching support to EXCEL Principal Yetunde Reeves, teachers, and other staff in small school design and practices since 2004.
